Did You Ever Hear Of “Cheektowaga Charlie”? [VIDEO]

Many years ago, Buffalo was home to many breweries. The last major breweries were Iroquois and Simon Pure which closed their doors in 1971 and 1972.

One of my hobbies is collecting artifacts from these Buffalo breweries. I collect almost everything from the Simon Pure and Iroquois breweries: neon signs, lights, taps, cans, coasters, openers, etc. I even have recordings of old Buffalo beer commercials. If you are old enough to remember Simon Pure beer, then you may remember this radio commercial.
