How much do you know about about Buffalo? Over the years, our city has produced high-end furniture, luxury automobiles and aircraft. But did you know that motorcycles were also produced here in the queen city?

Yes, it's true! The four-cylinder Militaire motorcycle was produced from 1913 to 1917 by the Militaire Auto Company of Buffalo, NY. This unique machine with its 68 cubic inch engine produced 11.5 horsepower. It's claimed top speed was 70 miles per hour.
