Did You Win A Piece Of The Mega Millions Jackpot?

Last night's Mega Millions Jackpot was one of the biggest in history.  Weighing in at a huge $640 million, there was plenty to go around.  Unfortunately, there wasn't a winning ticket bought in the state of New York.  However, if you passed through Maryland, Illinois, or Kansas anytime in the past week and bought a lotto ticket there, you might want to check your numbers.

According to The Huffington Post, winning tickets were bought at convenience stores in Illinois and Maryland.  No info was provided about the Kansas winner.

Evidently, winners of the lottery in Kansas and Maryland can remain annonymous however the Illinois winner will be identified when they come forward to claim their prize.

Because there were 3 winners, the winning pot will have to be split 3 ways.  However, don't feel too badly considering that each of the winners will bring home an estimated $213 million before taxes.
