Dierks Bentley is sharing some hard-earned wisdom in his latest song. In "Living," the singer reminds his audience to grab all the happiness they can, while they can.

The track marries a laid-back guitar theme to an electronic percussion loop in the verse, in which Bentley admits he sometimes looks right past all the good things in his life.

"It's a beautiful world / Sometimes I don't see so clear," he sings.

That gives way to a powerful chorus that's one of the most uplifting pieces of music Bentley has recorded: "Some days you're just breathing / Just trying to break even / Sometimes your heart's pounding out of your chest and sometimes it's just beating / Some days you just forget / What all you've been given / Yeah some days you just get by / And some days you're alive / And some days you're living."

Bentley debuted the song along with another one titled "Burning Man" during a concert in Las Vegas on Dec. 17, 2017.

"When you live on the road, there's very few days you're living. Most of your time you crash in the hotel room. It's dark, it's lonesome, you're hungover. You're tired. You're missing stuff," he told the audience. "We try to live every day. No matter what we do, we try to do something that makes us feel like we're living. That's how this song came about."

"Living" will appear on Bentley's next album, The Mountain, which is due on June 8. The 13-track project includes collaborations with Brothers Osborne, Sam Bush, Brandi Carlile, Jerry Douglas and Tim O'Brien. The album's lead single, “Woman, Amen,” is currently at country radio.

The Mountain is available for pre-order now.
