Does Anyone Know The Story Behind The Boat On The 90E? [PHOTO]

I was scrolling through Facebook with a cup of coffee over the weekend and I came across a post with several pictures. I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing was real! It was a boat, just a boat, sitting in one of the lanes on the 90 E near the 400. Was this really in Buffalo and did it just happen? It was YES to all of those questions. I felt so bad for the person who had lost there boat, but in all the pictures I could see it was just the boat! There wasn't a car or truck in front of it or off on the shoulder. Did the owner not realize they lost the boat, or did they realize too late?

There are more pictures out there but no story. So I am asking here, does anyone know the story behind this? Is everyone ok?
