Dolly Talks Plastic Surgery And Age [Video]
Dolly Parton is currently promoting her new movie Joyful Noise , a movie that we’re giving tickets away for today (1/6). In a conversation with Toronto.com, Dolly talks about everything from Plastic Surgery to her age.
The movie comes out next friday (January 13th) and is definitely filled with talent. From Dolly Parton to Queen Latifah.
In the movie, there’s a scene where Dolly’s character and Queen Latifah’s character start taking shots at each other and the plastic surgery insults start flying. But Dolly says she gave the writer permission to write it. She likes to make jokes about it.
I make jokes about it. If I see something sagging, dragging and bagging I’ll have it nipped, tucked and sucked, that’s one of my famous lines but I mean it,” she pointed out. “I’m a showperson. If you’re gonna put yourself out there, you want to look as good as you can. If you’ve got the money and the desire and the nerve and there are good doctors, why not?”
She also spoke about how she’d like to work forever because she loves it.
I think if you’ve worked all your life and that’s what you want to do, you should do that,” she said. “I really hope to be like Bob Hope and George Burns and Betty White and all those people. I want to work as long as I can. I just hope I keep my health and I hope to live to be 100.”
