Dominic Piraino Of Elma Wins The WYRK Grand Finale Burnout Competition At Dunn Tire Raceway Park

Congratulations to Dominic Piraino of Elma who won the grand finale last night at Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster. Only previous weekly winners were allowed to compete. The competition was extremely close. Rob Garven of North Tonawanda and Dominic Piraino actually tied with the judges scoring each of them a total of 27 points out of a possible 30. We did what we always do in the event of a tie: an old-fashioned coin toss. Dominic won the toss and grabbed the $500 Dunn Tire gift certificate while Rob got the $50 Dunn Tire girt certificate. Big thanks to our special panel of judges last night: Gina and Gary from Dunn Tire Raceway Park and The Dean of Country from WYRK. Also, big thanks as well to Johnny O, our track announcer who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Dunn Tire Raceway Park has become my second home! LOL!

Big thanks to all who competed this year, especially seven-time weekly winner Mitch Hoinski of Sloan. You guys made the cruise nights very entertaining for all of us and it would not have been such a success without you folks.
