Donald Trump announced that he had some information that would ensure that the president would NOT win this year's election.  He was going to announce it today.  Instead, he gave the president an ultimatum.

What Trump wants is transparency.  He called Obama the "least transparent president in the history of our country."  Then Trump continued to offer him a deal.  He called it "a deal that the president cannot refuse".  What Trump wanted was for the president to turn over his college records and applications, and his passport applications and records.

In return, Trump offered a check of $5 million made out to a charity of the president's choice.

It is kind of an interesting proposition.  If the president has nothing to hide, then a charity or multiple charities will benefit.  However, if he doesn't release the records then it makes him look like he does have something to hide (even if he doesn't).
