Buffalo, NY is the Dyngus Day capitol of the world and as always, on the day after Easter, the Polonia district hosts the parade and some of the biggest parties. But, what did it used to look like?

Take a look into the Golden Age of the Broadway Fillmore Shopping District on Buffalo's Eastside. in the 1930s, the corner of Broadway and Fillmore was the 2nd busiest intersection in New York State outside of Times Square in New York City. The district was home to the 2nd largest Polish-American colony in the world outside of Polonia.
