You think you're eating healthy by having nice big leafy salad.  But that might not be the case after multiple people have become sick after eating romaine lettuce infected with E Coli bacteria.

According to ABC News, 13 states in all, including New York, have reported sickness from E Coli.  One state even reported a death.

The number is up to 58 people who have become sick in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, and Washington states.

The problem is that the source has not been identified yet, so Consumer Reports is suggesting people stop eating romaine lettuce until it can be taken off the shelves.
