If you have been trying to get to the next pay scale at your job, the answer may not be kissing up to your boss. It may be that you need to work out more.I saw this story on Yahoo News that states :
research has found that exercise–defined in this study as aerobics, running, swimming, or cycling–increases your intelligence, positive attitude, and energy levels. “Each of these factors in turn can raise a person’s productivity, leading to higher earnings”
Makes sense. If you look better and feel better, it can mean more confidence and that can go a long way in the “real world.”
