Eddie McDonald – This Week’s Hometown Hero!

This week’s Hometown Hero is originally from Pendleton, NY.  It’s 22 year old Eddie McDonald.

He’s a graduate of Starpoint Central and is currently serving in the United States Airforce.  Truthfully there wasn’t a lot of information in his nomination.  It said simply that he was a “wonderful young man who devotes himself to protect our freedom."

He is currently deployed to Afghanistan but should be home soon.  Even from a brief look at his facebook page, it’s apparent how much his friends and family miss him and can’t wait for him to come home.

Hopefully that time comes sooner than later.  We’re all very proud of him and are happy to call him this week’s Hometown Hero.
