Erie County Executive Says To Jon Bon Jovi — Buffalo Bills Move Is ‘Non-Negotiable’

It’s pretty cool when you know that a guy in charge is as a passionate a Bills fan as yourself. Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz is that guy.

Rumors were swirling this weekend about rocker Jon Bon Jovi being interested in buying the Buffalo Bills. He’s already a minority owner in the NFL, but he seems very interested in the Bills when they go up for sale after Ralph Wilson passes away.

According to Fox Sports:

Bon Jovi has been very proactive in meeting NFL owners and general managers, and is seeking their input on all sort of issues related to football. In the past he has nearly become a minority owner of a team, most notably the Falcons. However, sources said Bon Jovi is aiming to be the principal owner — it remains to be seen if he has the type of immense capital necessary to meet that threshold of ownership — and has aligned himself with several powerbrokers in his effort to turn his dream into reality.

But, if Jon Bon Jovi thinks that the Bills will be moving out of Buffalo, he has another guess coming. Poloncarz has something to say to anyone who thinks they would like to buy the Bills and move them.
