Erie County Fair Attendance Numbers Make History
With all of the things that happened prior to the beginning of this year’s Erie County Fair, the news is bright at the close! The Erie County Fair recorded it’s 2nd largest attendance in history in 2017!
The EC Fair’s Marketing Director released this statement :
Final attendance for 2017 is 1,193,279. This is a 21% increase from 2016 and is the second highest attended Fair in the Erie County Fair’s history (All-time record achieved in 2014 – 1,220,101).
The Fair’s success cannot only be measured in people, but in vendors, exhibits, and most importantly, in memories.
The Erie County Agricultural Society would like to thank Western New York for its continued support of the Erie County Fair. Fair organizers have already begun planning next year’s “Best 12 Days of Summer.” The 179th Erie County Fair is scheduled for August 8-19, 2018.
As for WYRK? Dale Mussen and the Country Crew accepted donations to benefit St. Jude Hospital and the grand total (prior to final tallies) was around $3300 !
