It's more than people being displaced by the horrific flooding in Texas, animals are also being left homeless and sometimes helpless. The Erie County SPCA said they would be lending a hand and space and assisting with dogs displaced by Hurricane Harvey.

The SPCA will be taking up to twenty dogs from shelters in Texas that were transferred to a shelter in NJ before the storm his to help make room for stranded and homeless animals in the hurricane's path. While final plans are still in works the dogs will be coming to the area soon!
