5th Annual Open House at Thistle Creek Alpaca Farm

We welcome you to join us for our 5th annual open house to celebrate National Alpaca Farm Days. This is a free, family friendly event where you can tour our farm, and learn about alpaca farming. View our 32 alpacas in 21 different natural colors, search for the six new babies. Watch alpaca fiber demonstrations of spinning on a spinning wheel or drop spindle, needle felting, wet felting, natural dyeing of fiber with plant based materials, and knitting and crocheting. If you are a crafter, we invite you to bring you current project and join the crafting circle. Start your holiday shopping early by taking a trip to our alpaca farm store. Packaged snacks will be available for a donation to alpaca rescue. We welcome you to spend a nice fall day on the farm.
