Benefit for Brady Getty
Food, open bar, live music, and more!
Brady Getty arrived five weeks early on September 25th, 2012. Since then Brady has spent more than ninety days in the hospital. Each and every day is a fight for life. He has been diagnosed with not one, but THREE, extremely rare and life threatening disorders. He battles Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA), Giant Cell Hepatitis and a rare form of Interstitial Lung Disease called Surfactant Protein-C Deficiency. He has undergone four surgeries and countless procedures. He is on continuous oxygen and monitoring. He is not able to eat anything by mouth and is fed entirely through a feeding tube. He relies on blood transfusions several times a week to stay alive. To date, he has had more than sixty transfusions. His future is uncertain.
