Additional Information

Cub Scout Pack 592 of Orchard Park, NY is hosting a fall Round-Up for all boys in 1st through 5th grades that are interested in scouting. The Round-Up is on Tuesday, September 24th at 6:30 PM at Windom Volunteer Fire Company. Windom Volunteer Fire Company is located at 3736 Abbott Road, Orchard Park NY 14127 on the corner of Abbot Road and Olympic Avenue.

Our fall Round-Up will feature a scout campfire experience. We will have fun songs, skits, stories and of course s'mores! The camp fire will be held rain or shine but will be moved inside in case of poor weather.

The Cub Scouting program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness. Boys can begin as Tiger Cubs as they finish Kindergarten, and then move into the Wolf and Bear Cub Scout programs (second and third grade, or age 8 or 9), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grade, or age 10). They then transition into Boy Scouts.

Pack 592 is one of the Boy Scouts of America's 45,962 Cub Scout packs that serve 1,582,930 boys nationwide. Cub Scouts is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys ages 7-10 and their families. The cub pack meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at Windom Volunteer Fire Company at 3736 Abbott Road, Orchard Park NY 14127.

The Windom Volunteer Fire Company started with 20 members in 1928 and today has 47 active members. The company provides fire and EMS services to 2500 families as well as providing protection to the 60,000 spectators that arrive for the Buffalo Bills football games.
