It happens only once a year – the DEC Free Fishing Weekend and the Hooked on the Tonawandas Fishing Tournament. It’s Saturday and Sunday, June 29^th and 30^th at Gateway Harbor and the Erie Canal. Over $3500 in cash prizes will be awarded. You can register at the Gateway Harbor Pavilion on the North Tonawanda side of the canal or find them online at fishgatewayharbor.net.
