FREE Safe: Basic Firearm Safety & NY, FL & AZ Pistol Permit Course

Whether you’re a rifle or shotgun owner or someone interested in getting a handgun, the most important thing about gun ownership is safety. Even though a course is not required to own rifles and shotguns in NY, safety training is highly recommended. And, if you’re interested in getting a handgun permit in NYS, a certified course is required.

To help our WNY neighbors be safer, more responsible gun owners, EMPact America is teaming up with Rivera/B.C.J.S. Investigations to offer a FREE 4-hour course from top, certified instructors – it’s called the "SAFE: Basic Firearms Safety & NY, FL & AZ Pistol Permit Course." Since this is a multi-state course, we are accepting current NYS pistol permit holders who want to get the additional state permits in FL and/or AZ.

The class will be a certified NY, FL & AZ Pistol Permit Course and will include basic rifle, shotgun and handgun safety, range safety, home safety (including proper storage and use), firearm familiarity, functioning, operation, care and nomenclature - and other state-required topics – plus, what to do (and not do) in the event of a home intruder.
