John Schmitz Benefit

Benefit for John Schmitz who was diagnosed with metastatic small cell cancer. He began treatment in 2013 which involved 4 months of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation all the while he continued to work fulltime. Unfortunately the cancer continued to grow and John was put on a trial which included 7 months of chemo. The side effects from the chemo made it impossible to work. Since July 2014 John was taken off the trial and put back on original chemotherapy and radiation treatment and continues to fight this terrible disease. Even with health insurance ,lack of full time income and multitude of co-pays, deductibles for treatments and medications the cost has been overwhelming. Please join us to help ease this burden for John and his wife Arlene, allowing him to focus on fighting this cancer.
