Summer Music Institute Returns to Buffalo State

Buffalo State’s Music Department is hosting the Summer Music Institute for area middle and high school students again this year. During two week-long camps, students study with music faculty and other professional musicians. Both camps are open to students going into the seventh through 12th grades who play string, wind, or percussion instruments and are able to perform in ensembles. Classes are July 10-14, and the Jazz Camp July 17-21 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Rockwell Hall.  For information call the Summer Music Institute at 878-6405. Scholarships are available.
