Additional Information

Anyone can help give the blind a chance to read, come to Western New York’s best “Ticket-Drop Auction”-- and win big prizes… including Buffalo Bills and Sabres tickets and the famed “World‘s Best Lottery Tree”!

The 17th Annual "Ticket-Drop SUPER-AUCTION” takes place on Sunday afternoon, November 13, 1:30pm - 5pm, at the Grapevine Banquet Hall (formerly the Hearthstone Manor), 333 Dick Road (north of Walden Avenue) in Depew. Admission is only $5, including start-up tickets. The event benefits the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service for the Blind.

Every day, the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service gives the blind a chance to read. For three decades, Radio Reading volunteers have broadcast daily readings of newspapers, magazines, books and vital information to area blind and print-handicapped persons, who are provided special “reading radios."

Past events have been sold out! This year’s Super-Auction is the biggest ever, with more than 150 auction items, collectibles, keepsakes, early birds, door prizes, raffles, “super-prizes” and the famed “World’s Best Lottery Tree." Admission is only $5, including a sheet of start-up tickets. Additional sheets of tickets can be purchased for only $5 (regular prizes) and $10 (super prizes).

Because of the expected crowds on November 13, doors open at 1pm for early arrivals, early draws and early birds. Don’t forget that there is no Bills game that day. Everyone is invited to the Ticket-Drop SUPER-AUCTION for the Blind, on Sunday, November 13, 1:30pm - 5pm at the Grapevine Banquet Hall, 333 Dick Road, Depew.
