VAL'S 25th SILVER ANNIVERSARY DYNGUS DAY CELEBRATION – Monday, April 21st, 2014

12:00 pm (noon) Polish Kitchen Opens

12:00 pm (noon) to 4:30 pm 2nd Annual “Get Wet on Dyngus Day” Polka Pool Party with and Oczipiny Hat & Easter Bonnet contest. Hosted by Buffalo’s own “PHOCUS” Polka Band, held in the Courtyard with a tropical theme! YES, dress in your Hawaiian Shirts, Mumu’s, Grass shirts and bring your funniest Oczipiny Hat or Easter Bonnet for a chance to win great Prizes!

5:00 pm Doors open to the Presidential Ballroom

6:00 pm to 12:30 am In the Ballroom, Polka Music, again by two of the top Polka Bands in the country: Freeze Dried and the I.P.A. (International Polka Association) Tribute band with a guest appearance by Dr. John Valby singing his renowned “Dyngus Day in Buffalo” song. A short program by The Polish Heritage Dancers.

7:00 pm to 11:00pm Simultaneously, Poolside, in the Courtyard, The Best Country Music in WNY by the fabulous “West of the Mark”. So bring your Polish cowboy hats, pussywillows and do some steppin’ with West of the Mark

12:30 am till closing“Twigs” Lounge stays open for the relentless Dyngus’ers. CD Polka music till close

$10 General admission/person (each day). Table reservation suggested but will only be held until music starts. After music starts, seating will be first-come, first-served basis. FANTASTIC ROOM PACKAGES: $99 one night for 2 people. Courtyard rooms overlooking the heated indoor pool $129 one night for 2. Additional discount for multiple night stays. Room packages include a $10 discount for the Easter Brunch and admission tickets to all events. NO BYOB or BYOF!
