Veterans Appreciation Day

St. Michael and All Angels Church will hold a Veterans Appreciation Day tribute on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 81 Burke Drive, Buffalo, NY 14215 from noon till 4:00 PM.
This free family event will feature an interfaith service followed by lunch and live music by the Creek Bend Band. Children’s activities include games, face painting and a bounce house. There is also a basket raffle with proceeds benefitting the Veterans organization which provides care for returning veterans and their families. Last year $800 was raised and donated to this cause. We are looking to double that this year.
“The members of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church are sponsoring this event as a tribute to our area service men, women and their families in recognition of the profound sacrifices they’ve made on behalf of our country,” says Reverend Jack Marshall, Rector of St. Michael and All Angels.
