Now you know your Buffalo (and WNY) ABCs...

A. A is also for Anderson's – handmade ice creams and signature frozen custard mixes, this really is a Buffalo staple! We love our sweet treats and we love our beef on weck and here we can get both!

And let's not forget the WYRK ACOUSTIC Show, which happens twice a year and where all this craziness takes place!

ICYMI, at the last Acoustic Show we somehow managed to get Chase Bryant, Dan and Shay to impersonate RaeLynn...

B. B is for the Buffalo Bills, our favorite football team no matter where we are! And how we somehow are able to make the Bills central to any conversation.

C. C is for Canalside, the center of activity downtown along our beautiful waterfront – home to canoe and kayak rentals, water bikes, the Sullivan and Little Rock, summer concerts and festivals, dining, ice skating and more. There is always something going on.

D. DYNGUS DAY  – After all there is is no Buffalo without Dyngus Day! Do other cities even celebrate this one? We can't imagine a year without it.

Let's take a tour of Broadway Market, ladies and gentlemen...

E. Erie County (and the Erie County Fair, which is a yearly can't miss event).

F. First Niagara Center, where we've all seen the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits play!

Fisher Price, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Fair (Erie County), Food Trucks, FOOD...there's a lot of F's....

G. General Mills. You smell those Cheerios right? (A close second -- Goo Goo Dolls.)

H. Hot dogs, because where else are hot dogs gourmet food? Ted's anyone?

I. Ice boom. The boom spans the outlet of Lake Erie from the breakwall at Buffalo Harbor almost to the Canadian shore when it is in position during the icy months.

J. Jack Knife Bridge – Wait, you don't know what we are talking about?

K. Kleinhans Music Hall.

L. Loganberry. It's super sweet and completely foreign to the rest of the country, but we love loganberry flavored beverages.

M. MOVIES! Buffalo brothers opened the world's first movie theater, Vitascope Theatre, in the Ellicott Square Building in 1896. And Buffalo has been the setting or filming location in over 200 films.

N. Niagara Falls. It's not in Buffalo, but it's certainly why a lot of tourists come through!

O. Old Fort Niagara.

P. Pan American Exposition World Fair, which shaped much of Buffalo architecture, including the electric tower and was the setting of the assassination of President William McKinley.

Q. Quaker Boy. It is crazy how many national and international brands have come out of Western New York. Quaker Boy, who makes calls for hunting, is just one of them!

Clay, Dale and Liz headed over to Quaker Boy a few months ago and made their own turkey calls. Who do you think did it best? Let's find out!

R. RiverWorks. Yes, the Labatt grain elevators are there, but that’s just the start! Pickle ball courts, a pro shop, a roller derby rink, bar and restaurant, concerts, beer garden, ladderball, corn hole, beer pong – there is something for everyone a RiverWorks.

S. Sabres. Snow. Steel. Silos. Sponge Candy. Snowvember, St. Patrick's Day....uh...sorry, we got distracted.

T. TASTE OF COUNTRY!!! The OFFICIAL start to Buffalo concert season.

U. Universities and colleges -- State University of New York, University at Buffalo, Buffalo State College, Erie Community College, Bryant & Stratton College, Canisius College, Daemen College, D'Youville College Medaille College, Trocaire College.

V. Vidler's, 'The Fair Store' is in East Aurora opened in 1930 and was a popular 5 & 10. It remains a unique find in WNY, a return to a simpler time and a treasure of a store where you never know what you'll find.

W. Wings. We are the HOME of wings! And you could say that we here at WYRK eat a LOT of wings...

At Bar Bill:

Loganberry flavored:

Extra, Crazy, We Need a Doctor Hot!!

And Roulette Style....

X. eXchange rate -- A border town between the United States and Canada, Buffalonians are no stranger to calculating the exchange rate -- and it is really hard to think of things that start with X....

Y. Y is for YMCA, which takes care of the community.

Z. Zoo where we now have baby lions, gorilla, rhino and otters!  Plus you can go behind the scenes like Brett did and get up close and personal with some of these animals!
