EZ Pass is changing the way their new tags look.  They will be smaller and slimmer.  But be careful.  If you need to return your old tag back to where it came from, be sure to wrap it in foil to be sure not to incur any extra charges.

As one EZ Pass user discovered the hard way, the EZ Pass tag is always on until it is manually turned off by the EZ Pass employees.

Al Vaughters had the story for WIVB-TV where he talked to a person he called John Smith to keep his account information safe. John says that he returned his old EZ Pass tag when he received his new replacement one. It wasn't until he got his new bill that he discovered, the old one was still creating charges for him. Charges that went almost all the way across the state.
