Female High School Football Player Throws a Touchdown Pass

]Her name is Cynthia Brown.  She's a varsity football player on her high school team in Virginia and she recently became the first female to throw a touchdown pass in a varsity game.  She lined up as the punter, but instead she threw a pass that was scooped up by the receiver at the 50 and he evaded tacklers until he reached the end zone.

Was the catch legal?  Did the ball hit the ground?  The officials didn't see it that way so the play stands.  You make the call.
