It's a name that I've been familiar with since I began buying their sub sandwiches when they had a location on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst back in my high school days.  Since then, they opened up locations in downtown Buffalo and now they've moved into the building where I work.

After 25 years on Franklin Street, Fera's has moved to the Rand Building in Lafayette Square.  Monday was the first day of business at the new location.

Everything that was available on Franklin; the breakfast sandwiches, subs, soups and salads will be available at the new location, but some new things will be added including espresso and eventually a buffet.  Fera's also applied for a license to serve wine and beer.

Fera's has two other locations downtown; Fera’s Lunch Hour at 93 Pearl St. and Fera’s Electric Tower Café, 535 Washington St.
