John LaMond’s Finger Lakes Wine Country Tour [GALLERY]

You have heard the commercials on WYRK throughout the Summer telling you to discover Finger Lakes Wine country. Last week, I fired up my Harley-Davidson and headed off to the Finger Lakes to do just that. My best friend and I cruised all over Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake and discovered some amazing wineries. Most of the wineries have tastings for a nominal fee, usually one or two dollars. If you enjoy wine, you must take a trip to the Finger Lakes. When you do, you will soon find out that some of the best wine in the world is produced right here in New York State. Everywhere we went the people were friendly and welcoming. The only negative was a $33 parking ticket in Ithaca. Other than that, the weather was perfect and the wines were outstanding.
