Kasey Kahne took the lead on a late restart and held off pole-sitter Kyle Busch to win for the first time at Bristol Motor Speedway. Brad Keselowski came in third followed by Kurt Busch and Clint Bowyer.

Keselowski was in the lead on the final restart and it looked like he spun his tires, but he says he got hit from behind Denny Hamlin, who was run into by Joey Logano. It was the continuation of an earlier run-in between Hamlin and Logano and after the race Logano had to be pulled away from Hamlin’s car when they had words. The former teammates tangled at Daytona a couple of weeks ago, but the issue between them probably cost Keselowski a chance to win the race. He says his tires were off the ground when he hit the gas and says it made him look like a fool.

Logano had to be pulled away from Hamlin's car when he confronted him after the race.

Kyle Busch had a great car all day, but an early speeding penalty along pit road cost him time and position. He has five Sprint Cup victories at Bristol and won Saturday’s Nationwide race.

Keselowski didn’t get the win, but he takes over the points lead. The defending Sprint Cup champion is the only driver to finish in the Top 5 in all four races so far this season. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. moves up to second. Jimmie Johnson came into the race with the points lead, but cut a tire and ran into the wall with 50 laps to go. He finished 22nd and drops to third in the standings.

It’s back out west to California Speedway next week.
