I read somewhere that more than 50 percent of the U.S. population is overweight.  Today's lifestyles leave us little time for eating properly and exercising enough.  It's no wonder that everywhere you look, people are pushing some type of diet or diet plan.

Obviously every person has a different metabolism. Here are the five diet rules you are allowed to break:

1.) Do not eat after 7pm.

2.) Eat five to six small meals during the day.

3.) Stick to fat-free or low-fat foods.

4.) Eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking.

5.) Cut out certain food groups.
