Florida Georgia Line grabbed two major American Music Awards nominations!

Nominations were announced this morning (Oct. 10) live from NYC, and the super-duo landed a nomination for New Artist of the Year, along with other genres' favorites Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and American Idol alum Phillip Phillips.

Florida Georgia Line's single "Cruise" -- the version featuring Nelly -- was also nominated for Single of the Year this morning against the songs "Thrift Shop" and "Blurred Lines", which were huge pop hits.

The American Music Awards are the most diverse of all the award shows. The ceremony will take place November 24.
