  1. HOW TO ENTER
    1. The WYRK FORD F-150 GIVEAWAY contest will begin at 12 midnight EST on Monday, May 2nd, 2011 and end at 11pm EST Friday, June 3rd 2011.
    2. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Throughout the month of May WYRK will qualify twenty (20) listeners per week M-F (80 total) and announce three (3) finalists every Friday {5/6-13-20-27} (12 total) to participate in the grand prize give away of an F-150 FORD at the Taste of Country Friday June 3rd  2011
    3. Listeners will be instructed to listen for the FORD Sounder, the 9th caller will win a CD from a TOC artist and will be eligible to become one of the 12 finalists announced on Fridays.  FORD F-150 FRIDAYS:  Every Friday WYRK will announce three (3) FORD F-150 FINALISTS from all who qualify.  Contestants will win a pair of tickets to the show along with instructions as to the details of the give away the day of the concert.  Finalists once chosen will have a 1 in 12 chance to try and start the F-150 at Taste of Country based on all participants being on-site and eligible.
    4. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.
    5. Only one entry per person will be accepted, multiple entries will be discarded and will not be eligible for contest

  1. The contest is open to all WYRK listeners who are 21 years of age or older, possessing a legal valid New York State driver’s license, United States citizen who legally reside in the Greater Buffalo Niagara Region. Employees, directors and officers of WYRK (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, including, without limitation, Western New York Ford Dealers Advertising Fund, Inc. and its member dealers and Eric Mower and Associates, Ford Motor Company, other radio stations in the Greater Buffalo Niagara metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall mean: mother, father, spouse, children or siblings.
  2. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

On Friday June 3 2011 Western New York FORD Dealers will give away a FORD F-150 Truck

  1. If applicable all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station, 14 Lafayette Square, Suite 1200, Buffalo NY 14203.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 6/30/11.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.  Winner of the FORD F-150 is responsible for collection of prize from Western New York Ford Dealers at a dealership to be announced.
  2. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Western New York Ford Dealers (Sponsor) may, at its sole discretion, substitute a vehicle of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above. Other restrictions may apply.
  3. The verified Grand Prize Winner will receive:  One (1) 2011 Ford F-150 (the “Grand Prize”) with the approximate MSRP of $30,000 and all fees associated with the vehicle (sales tax, title, registration, etc…) valued at approximately $2,800.  See other prize restrictions and requirements described below.
  4. The Grand Prize Winner must accept delivery of vehicle from the designated Western NY Ford Dealer, and will receive Grand Prize Vehicle by June 30, 2011 after verification of eligibility and verification of the Grand Prize Winning requirements as outlined in these Official Rules.  The Grand Prize winner, if any, must take delivery of vehicle from designated dealer, or as otherwise instructed by Station.  Prior to being awarded the Grand Prize Vehicle, potential Grand Prize Winner (1) sign one or more liability release agreements, affidavits or eligible and/or prize receipts, and (b) any other document required by Stations and Sponsors for the award and transfer of the vehicle.  The Grand Prize Winner shall comply with all Department of Motor Vehicle Insurance Laws, Rules and Regulations of his/her state of residence.  Grand Prize Winner must show proof of insurance (if required by law), and social security number to receive Grand Prize Vehicle.  Grand Prize Winner may be required by Station to obtain and pay directly for any federal or state required insurance coverage.  In addition, Grand Prize Winner shall receive an IRS Form 1099 and such prize will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service for the 2011 tax year for the fair market value of the Grand Prize.  Neither Station nor any Sponsors have made or is responsible in any manner for any warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to such Grand Prize Vehicle, including without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, with the exception of any standard manufacturer’s warranty that may apply to the Grand Prize Vehicle.  Grand Prize Winner will be required to complete all relevant transfer documents and be available for Stations or Sponsors to contact them with the date and time the Grand Prize Vehicle can be picked up from the dealership during regular business hours at a mutually agreed upon date.  FAILURE TO COLLECT THE GRAND PRIZE VEHICLE AND DELIVER ALL REQUIRED PAYMENTS AND FORMS BY JUNE 30, 2011 WILL CONSTITUTE FORFEITURE OF THE GRAND PRIZE VEHICLE.  IF FORFEITED, THE GRAND PRIZE WILL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF DEALERSHIP AND THE GRAND PRIZE VEHICLE WILL NOT BE AWARDED IN THIS CONTEST UNLESS AN ALTERNATE WINNER IS SELECTED BY RANDOM DRAWING.  NOT WITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, ALL ENTRANTS IN THIS CONTEST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE GRAND PRIZE VEHICLE MAY HAVE HAD LIMITED USE BY THE DEALER AND WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNER “AS IS” AND THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE UP TO 3,000 MILES.
  5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
  1. Decisions of the Station management and Western New York Ford Dealers with respect to the contest are final.
  2. Winner of the FORD F-150 on behalf of the Western New York Ford Dealers will be selected and announced on Friday June 3 2011 at the WYRK Taste of Country Concert, Coca-Cola Field downtown Buffalo.
  3. On Friday June 3 2011 all on-air qualifiers (total of 12) will be invited via a reverse lottery draw. Chances of winning the FORD F-150 truck 1 in 12 if all participants are present and signed in.   A reverse lottery is one in which all of the checked-in contestants names will be put into a drawing bin.  A station / WNY FORD DEALERS representative will randomly pick out names.  If a contestants name is called, he or she will be eliminated from the contest.  The last name to be randomly drawn from the bin will win the grand prize.
  4. Giveaway will be tentatively scheduled for 8pm Friday June 3 2011 at the Taste of Country Coca Cola Field downtown Buffalo. One (1) winner will be chosen from among the eligible qualifiers in a reverse lottery draw.  All eligible contestants need to present and checked-in with a member of the WYRK staff by 7:30pm ET in order to be eligible to win the Prize.
  5. Odds of winning a CD depend on the number of eligible listeners during contest cue to call.
  6. Odds of winning a pair of tickets and a spot as FORDS FINAL 12 are 12 in 80.
  7. Odds of winning the FORD F-150 if all eligible contestants are signed in and present are 1 in 12.
  8. Winner must be present to win.
  9. Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing of all other eligible contestants.
  10. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any Competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the Obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

CONDITIONS

  1. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
  2. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion will require contest winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
  3. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
  4. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
  5. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
  6. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of Country 106.5 WYRK, 14 Lafayette Square, Suite 1200, Buffalo NY 14203
  7. As a condition of participating in the contest, Contestants agree that any and all disputes, which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.  All decisions of the Station shall be final.
  8. This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where restricted or prohibited by law.
