Don't be surprised if you see former first round draft pick Johnny Manziel hanging out here in Buffalo some day.  He just signed a new contract to play and he's pretty close to 716.

Manziel just signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL which is just about an hour from Buffalo.

According to WKBW, he has decided to head up north claiming that it was the best option for him at this time.

Manziel was the youngest to win college football's Heisman trophy as a freshman and he showed a lot of promise heading into his pro career when he was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.  However, it's been awhile since we've seen the former college football standout in a uniform and the last time we did, it was about 3 hours away in Cleveland.

It's kind of fitting that he's playing close to Buffalo.  After all, he's had more luck playing here than he did in Cleveland.  This was where his first touchdown was scored!

After being cut from the Browns, Manziel has been looking for a team.  He has now found a home for the next two years in Hamilton.
