Four Local Colleges On Best Value List

For higher education value – there are four local colleges that rank nationally among the best.  The University of Buffalo, Geneseo, Fredonia and Brockport are ranked in the Top 100 among public colleges in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine January, 2011 issue.

 Kiplinger’s says their data is based on affordability and academics at four-year schools using SAT or ACT scores, admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios and graduation rates.

 Geneseo came in 6^th, U-B finished 46^th, Brockport ranked 63^rd and Fredonia placed 65^th on the list.

 The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill came in at number one on the list of Kiplinger’s Best Values in Public Colleges.
