Garth Brooks Is John La Mond’s Feature Artist On Wide Open Country

No one in Country Music has sold more records than Garth Brooks. When he first broke through in 1989, we knew he was going to be big, but we weren't sure how big. This was the same year that two other future superstars made their debuts on the Country Music world: Alan Jackson and Clint Black.

No star has ever been able to market himself as well as Garth Brooks. He is the master of self-promotion. He does have have a 4 year college degree in Marketing, so I am sure his studies have served him well.

Garth has long been retired from the country music scene, although he still performs occasional shows. For the most part, he lives a semi-quiet life in Oklahoma with his lovely wife Trisha Yearwood. It is my personal hope that they will someday make that duet album they always spoke of.
