George Strait Proud Owner of Golf Course

George Strait, an avid lover of golf, is proud owner of a golf course in his home state of Texas. In April, Strait and partner Tom Cusick  bought  Tapatio Springs Golf Resort and Conference Center located in San Marcos, Texas. According to The Boot, The King of Country  stated

"We were thrilled to officially unveil the new look, feel and flavors of Tapatio"

The upgrade of the 59 year old  property took 8 months to restore.  According to Boot.com  , Strait had this to say about the  upgrades

"Tom and I have worked hard to create the perfect Texas Hill Country resort, and we look forward to hosting golfers, families and friends, and the community as they experience all that Tapatio Springs has to offer."

The resort has a special meaning for the pair who had been going there for over 25 years.
