It's almost too good to be true! Tesla, the parent company of SolarCity announced a lofty goal this week for production to begin on solar roofs!

Tesla says it will be building solar roofs in Buffalo by year's end.

"The Buffalo News" reports Tesla CEO Elon Musk says he expects the Buffalo plant to be a powerhouse of solar panel production. Musk says he expects solar roof production to start slow but rapidly increase.

It was just last year that Tesla introduced their roof panels (shingles) that look like the shingles on your house but offer big energy savings.
