Not sure why Mississippi is acting like this is 1950, but Governor Cuomo is not happy about it.

Like a similar law that North Carolina passed recently, Mississippi passed a bill that allows business to refuse service to people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.

This Mississippi law is a sad, hateful injustice against the LGBT community, and I will not allow any non-essential official travel to that state until it is repealed", says Cuomo.

On Tuesday, he banned all non-essential state travel to Mississippi.  All New York State boards, agencies and officials will need to request approval for all state-funded activity to the state of Mississippi.
