Graco is voluntarily recalling a highchair sold exclusive at Walmart due to several reports of the chair falling over due to the rear legs becoming unstable. Over 36,000 (3,200 in Canada) Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchairs ( model number 1969721) were voluntarily recalled on March 1, 2018. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been 38 reports of the rear leg pivoting out of position cause the highchairs to become unstable. There have been 5 reports of the chair actually falling over resulting in bumps and bruises.

The highchair was sold at Walmart in both the US and Canada between October 2016 through December 2017 and it retailed for around $100. The model number, which can be located either on the underside of the highchair seat or on the underside of the booster seat, is 1969721 with a manufacturing date between June 4, 2016 through September 28, 2017. Not all models of the Graco Table2Table Highchairs are being recalled so make sure you check the model number. This specific chair also has a white seat cushion with gold and gray polka dots.

The good news is you do not need to discard the chair. However, if you have one of these highchairs you should immediately stop using the recalled highchairs and contact Graco for a free repair kit. You can contact Graco Costumer service  at 800-345-4109 or online at www.gracobaby.com under Support.
