Gwyneth Paltrow Took Advice From Rocker Husband For “Country Strong”

Gwyneth Paltrow says her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, was helpful to her as she worked on the movie “Country Strong.”  The actress admits that while Martin isn’t part of the country music community, he’s still very familiar with the genre.
 
In “Country Strong” Paltrow plays the part of Kelly Canter, a down-and-out country singer working toward a comeback.  The movie opened last week in Nashville and Los Angeles.  “Country Strong” will hit theaters throughout the country on January 7th.

Gwyneth Paltrow says she got some advice from her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, on portraying a country singer in the movie “Country Strong.”
