Happy birthday to Willie Nelson! Willie turns 79 today, although some of his closer relatives say he was born on the 29th. I doubt there is a more recognized name in music than Willie Nelson. he has sang with just about everyone and in every genre. Willie is even respected by some outside of country music including guys like Snoop Dogg!True, Willie was part of the "outlaw" movement and his love of smoking marijuana is well documented. However, for me, the best Willie Nelson music is from back in the early part of his career. I like the traditional honky-tonk stuff and Willie sang that like none other! Here is some of that good stuff!
