Yesterday, while watching the tube with my GF Ash….we stumbled upon the TLC show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

I’m guessing some of you know of the show, but for the rest of you, the show is centered on one pudgy lil south Georgian pageant girl known as “Little Honey Boo Boo.”    Honey is one of four girls in the family.  Mama is the clan leader (and one heck of a sight) , while the father, Sugar Bear works all day.  The show is an absolute train wreck, but the family is so “redneck” and “entertaining.”  I think America has an obsession with this “redneck”, “down south” kind of livin’.  Look at how many shows are centered on this way of living.  Examples….”Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”, “Call of the Wildman”, “American Hoggers”, “Swamp People”…..need I go on.  The American viewer loves watching this kind of programming because it’s a way different kind of living.  It’s a kind of living that most of us have no idea about.  We also like watching TV shows that make us feel better about ourselves.  We seem to enjoy watching those who we think are “beneath” us……as shallow as that may be to say.  Regardless…the redneck TV revolution is upon us…..AND  I’M LOVIN’ IT!  Check out a lil clip of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
