Kid Rock's assistant, 30-year-old Michael Sacha, died early Monday morning (April 25) following an ATV accident on Rock's Nashville-area property. The singer and a friend were the ones who found Sacha's body, and the audio from Rock's frantic 911 call has been released.

At the beginning of the call, which came in at 11:32AM, Rock can be heard telling a female dispatcher, "I need an ambulance ... My assistant looks to be dead from a Polaris accident ... There's a body lying next to it."

The dispatcher continues to ask Rock for an address and phone number, although their connection is spotty, and Rock is audibly shaken up, demanding, "I need an ambulance now!" and getting upset with the dispatcher before an unidentified female takes over the phone call.

"We woke up, and he wasn’t in the house, so we came to look for him," she says. "Oh my God, can you just please send somebody? ... He’s off to the side of the driveway ... We have an ATV, we heard the engine running ... It’s in the trees, and it’s still running. We didn’t touch anything ... I don't want to look, but I don't think he's alive."

The complete audio from the call is below.

Around midnight on Sunday (April 24) leading into Monday, Sacha had transported guests from a cookout at Rock’s estate on Knight Drive in Whites Creek, northwest of Nashville, to an Uber waiting for them in the driveway of the property. Nashville police say that, on his way back, Sacha lost control of the ATV and crashed. His death has been classified as accidental.

In a statement on his website, Rocks says that he is “beyond devastated” by Sacha’s death, calling the man “a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with.”
