When it comes to shotguns, I think everyone has their favorite caliber. I started shooting a .410 when I was 13 and worked my up to a 12 gauge. I spent a lot of years shooting 12 gauges for deer hunting and trap shooting. These days, my favorite shotguns are my 16 gauges. I like the 16 because you just don't see them that much anymore. Last weekend I ran some deer slugs through my old Ithaca model 37 Featherlight and that gun is amazingly accurate. I can put a slug on top of another slug at 75 yards with open sights. The gun is dead-nuts on. If you are trying to decide on what caliber of shotgun to purchase, I thought this video from Heather Lacroix may be helpful to you.
