Help Save A Piece Of Buffalo’s Military History [INTERVIEW]

This Saturday is Armed Forces Day, and to commemorate this special day, the Buffalo Bisons have teamed up with the Buffalo and Erie Naval and Military Park for a tribute to the brave men and women who protect our freedom.

I was asked to be the MC for the ceremonies leading up to the game. If you purchase a ticket in advance, 50 percent of the $10 ticket will go to restoration efforts at the park, including work that needs to be done on the three ships!

I spoke with Robbie Ann McPherson on the show about the event and how you can help save the ships that have been beaten and tattered by the harsh winter we had.

I really hope to see you at the game on Saturday. This is a cause that I really feel connected to, as my mom's dad was in the Navy, and my brother and cousin served in the Marine Corps. The pre-game ceremony starts at 3:30, and the red hot Bisons take on Lehigh at 4:05.
