In 1986, Rob Reiner's coming-of-age tale 'Stand By Me' hit theaters, helping spark the careers of multiple young actors.

Corey Feldman, Wil Wheaton, Jerry O'Connell and River Phoenix comprised the film's central foursome, and all of them went on to successful Hollywood careers, though Phoenix's was tragically cut short by a heroin overdose a few years later. The film also featured several other recognizable names, many of whom are still performing today.
