Country On the Coast at Mickey Ratt's
Join WYRK at Mickey Rats for Country on the Coast on Friday, August 11th starting at 9 pm. Check out live music with West of the Mark plus concert ticket and t-shirt giveaways all night long. Mickey Rats and Captain Kid's, 20 minutes from Buffalo, take Thruway exit 57A and head straight to the lake.
Adopt-A-Pet No-Kill Animal Shelter Chicken BBQ
Adopt-A-Pet No-Kill Animal Shelter of Alden is having a Krolick's Chicken BBQ & Basket Raffle to raise money to keep the no-kill animal shelter open. It's this Sunday, August 13th from noon to 5:00 pm at the Lancaster Elks Lodge. There will be a variety of items for the basket raffle including gift certificates, gift baskets and autographed sports teams items and a 50/50 Raffle. The chicken bbq includes a 1/2 chicken, salt potatoes, chef salad, roll, butter, dessert and beverage. All proceeds to benefit the Adopt-A-Pet no kill animal shelter in Alden.
Taste of Lockport
The annual Taste of Lockport is this Sunday, August 13th presented by the Lockport Business Association with Corey McGowan Productions. It's Niagara County’s ultimate summer food fair, featuring local restaurants, wineries and farms. It's a day in the park, with food, live entertainment, contests, arts & crafts, and fun for the whole family. It's in and around Ida Frtiz Park along West Avenue in Lockport this Sunday from noon to 6 pm.
Country Jamboree at Tonawanda Firemen's Park
Union Hook and Ladder in the City of Tonawanda is hosting a Country Jamboree on Friday, August 11th from 6 to 11 pm at Tonawanda Firemen's Park on Two Mile Creek Road. Live music with 90 West. Come hungry - there's food and drinks. It's a kid-friendly event and admission is free.
Lawton's 4-H Shed Auction at Erie County Fair
Need a Garden Shed?? Lawtons Progressors 4-H members have been busy building one that might be perfect for your yard! Look for it in the 4-H Youth Development building at the Erie County Fair. It was quality built with an extra heavy duty base for long term durability. Bids will be taken throughout the duration of the fair concluding on Sunday, August 20th. 100% of the proceeds go directly to Lawtons Progressors 4-H club
