Hot Dog Water… Get Your Hot Dog Water Here…

I almost didn't believe it, but it's true, people are now buying unfiltered hot dog water, and what's worse is that their paying a steep price for it. I guess it goes to show, with the right marketing, anything can sell...or we have officially run out of ideas for new beverages.

According to WIVB, the story comes out of Vancouver, British Columbia, where apparently people attending an annual Car Free Day festival were able to enjoy vendors selling many items and delicious food, including bottled, unfiltered, hot dog water. Each bottle included a hot dog floating right inside.

Who would buy such a thing? Well, more people than we all thought, folks passing by just had to get in on the odd trend and purchase a bottle to try for themselves. But wait! There's more! With hot dog water being such a delicacy (please note the sarcasm), the cost to enjoy a bottle ran consumers a rather foot-long of a price, $37.99 to be exact.

I'm all about trying new foods and drinks, but without trying this I can almost already guess what it tastes like, gross warm water with a hint of hot dog flavor. Worth almost $40? You be the judge!
